This is an excellent step in the right direction not only for MA, but for the entire country. In taxing the cannabis industry, a high profit will be made by regulating it and taxing it. Also, this will allow research to be performed by highly qualified medical doctors in order to perfect Medicinal Marijuana. It would be a great accomplishment for MA to be the first state to make the right decision in order to help with the current economy. If this does pass, I will be interested to see how the Federal Government will react because according to the DEA, Marijuana is a schedule I drug and is illegal in the US.

Hi Jay-
The text of the proposed law does not appear to distinguish between under-21 patients and over-21 patients. However it is likely that when the regulations are written up, they could have something to say on that subject.
Take a look: http://cantaxreg.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/InfoSheetText.pdf
Thanks
Dick
